Ghanaian musician, Mzbel has finally released her much-anticipated song, “Asibolanga.”
The song, which has gotten social media buzzing for weeks, is a name often used by her pal, Nana Tornado on social media.
In a recent interview with Sammy Kay, the “Sixteen years” hitmaker revealed she wanted to feature Medikal on the song, however, it did not work out.
According to Mzbel, when she reached out to Medikal to feature on the song, she did not get a positive feedback, hence she dropped it.
“I had initially wanted to put Medikal on the Asibolanga song, but unfortunately, he was feeling pompous.I tried to reach out to him through his wife (Fella Makafui) and the response was not positive. They kept tossing me around,” she told Sammy Kay.
Mzbel added that she understands that sometimes when the person you want to feature on your song doesn’t vibe with it, they may decline. However, what she doesn’t understand is why Medikal didn’t tell her point blank.
“He had already listened to the song. You know sometimes people don’t feel the music and maybe because of our relationship, he was afraid to tell me,” she added.
